The International Olympic Day was celebrated with the participation of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nasimi District Executive Power, as well as Rio-2016 Olympic medalist Rustam Orujov. Athletes from basketball and cycling federations, members of the national team of the Azerbaijan Cheerleading Federation and football freestylers Nijat Safarov attended the event, which featured interesting sports activities for people to watch from the balconies. The main purpose of the event was to promote the Olympic movement among the population, especially children and youth, without leaving the place of residence in quarantine mode. The event, which followed all the rules of the quarantine regime, took place in a model yard surrounded by buildings in Nasimi district.

The residents of the building did not spare their support from the balconies to celebrate an important date together.
