The National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan has been implementing the Sports Administration Courses of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) since 2017. The training, which has already been attended by about 200 participants, is being certified by the International Olympic Committee and are being conducted by a four National Course Directors from Azerbaijan.

Sports Administration Courses provides a good opportunity to get the knowledge, values ​​and principles of sport, and the achievements of the Olympic Movement. The main purpose of the course is to increase knowledge in the field of sports administration among people of different ages who are interested in sports and, most importantly, to promote Olympic education. For the first time this year, foreign experts have been involved in the Sports Administration Courses. The course, which will be attended by trainers from the NOCs of Georgia and Albania, will be conducted in English. Due to the pandemic, the course, which will last from September 24 to October 2, will be held online.
