The Azerbaijan Land of Fire team achieved a remarkable feat by securing second place at the 40th Snow Polo World Cup held in St. Moritz, Switzerland, from January 24-26.

In the final, they faced off against Swiss team The Kusnacht Practice.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani team, with organizational support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation, had emerged victorious at the Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz in both 2022 and 2023.

During the competition, the Azerbaijani pavilion, launched by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, offered visitors a unique opportunity to explore photos and videos from the Foundation's "Azerbaijan. Inspired by Nature" publication, various exhibitions depicting the ancient chovkan game, and several national brands of Azerbaijan. The State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan also organized a virtual tour of the country's fascinating sights for participants.
